Photographing in the snow is a great thing to do. When i woke up today i looked out the window and everything was white. So i knew what i should write about today.
Having your gear perform good is more difficult than getting a exposure. If you shoot landscapes use live view to see what your exposure is.
Because snow means it's cold outside your batteries will go flat faster and if you bring your gear in and out of cold weather you can get condensation on the sensor. Slowly warm up your gear when you are finished shooting.

Tips to shoot in the snow
Because everything is white your camera will get confused if if overexposes or is underexposing. Use manual mode and look at your light meter.
