#sr16 When legends come.

Domien verschuuren

The legend: Tijn

Tijn is a 6 year old boy who is diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), this is a terminal disease. Whe just wanted to paint nails to help children who die in afrika from pneumonia  and doesn't even get to live to the age of 6. the radio  station @npo3fm  has every year a glass house where the dj`s don't eat for a week to raise money for a silent disaster. lets all help this legend of a kid by donating money and painting your nails!!! go to this website link to donate: Donate to Serious Request!!

What is serious request.

Serious request is a fund raiser by the dutch radio station NPO 3FM for the international red cross. The theme of the fundraiser is children with pneumonia who die from it while it is so easy to get them all better. This fundraiser is every year in the week before Christmas. 2DJ`s will lock himself in a glass house without food. And you help the fundraiser by paying them to play a song on the radio. You can also have fundraiser yourself and donate the money to serious request, like what Tijn did with his nail painting challenge.

I think we should all donate to this good cause because the red cross needs the money to save all the children who die from pneumonia. With a 4 euro donation the red cross can buy antibiotics. Whit the antibiotics a child doesn't need to die.
