White stork are amazing birds not just because of the size or the rarity. In a lot of european cultures there is a story of how the white stork gave the people babies. This was told by the parents to the children, now a days the children are told the honest truth. In the netherlands belgium and germany people whom got a baby will put up a wooden white sork to show that they got a baby. While in african american culture people told their children that white babies were delivered by white storks and black babies born from an buzzards egg.
